A very large finely modelled plaster bust of Moliere from the 1970s. Moliere was a French playwright, actor and poet regarded as one of the great writers in the French language and world literature. The presence of fibres embedded through out the bust, shows traditional high quality hand casting methods. These internal fibres added to reinforce this large plaster bust indicate it’s vintagec age and craftmanship that sets it apart from modern replicas.
