A mid century oil painting on canvas, circa 1940s, capturing a lush forest landscape rendered in a vivid, impressionistic style. It shows two figures walking up a winding dirt path surrounded by deep green foliage and dense trees under a pale sky. Set in a multi layered antique carved gilt wood frame and under glass. A beautiful artwork.
