Vintage Japanese Kokeshi doll crafted from Japanese cedar and signed by master artist Matagoro Yashima. Known for his Sosaku (creative) style, the body is decorated with a painted landscape and calligraphy, characteristic of his organic and artistic approach. A rare collectors Kokeshi doll.
